Back when I was a youngster moms always kept a bottle of this foul tasting stuff called “Robotussin” in the cabinet.
(Yes that same stuff you rambunxious youngsters mix with alcohol to get “faded”)

Check this out kids…it actually has a REAL purpose besides being used to get wasted…

Whether you had allergies, a cold, the flu, pnemonia, a scraped knee, a broken arm, a broken back, Athletes foot, or other various “kid like” ailments
all you had to do is ingest this wonderful liquid, fall asleep, and when you woke up you were cured…Magic.

In fact Robotussin even got a phrase named after it when you were hurt or sick…

Have you ever complained about being sick or a body part hurting and the reply to your complaint was “You’ll be fine, just rub some tussin’ on it” ?

Well there you go.

Now a days you have all these new “medicines” , Prozac, Lipitor, Valiums, Medicines for Tuberculosis, Medicines for headaches (yea NOT asprin), “cough” medicine, etc etc.

All you are doing is paying the docotor to get you strung out on drugs so you keep coming back for more…paying more and more money EACH time, all while still being sick, or have to deal with whatever ailment you have.

Ask anyone who ever had a bottle of Robotussin in the house how many times they had to use it to cure ain ailment….I’ll tell you the answer … ONCE.

I bet you I can go to moms house right now, and find the original bottle of Robotussin. Since you only needed one teaspoon, (two if you were dying) that stuff literally lasts for YEARS. When you get sick you could go  to the cabinet open it up, wipe the crust off and pour yourself a cap full.
Boom… cured…

The best flavor was purple,

but they had a red one too that literally tasted like pine needles…ughhhhh.

Apparently this was the best kind to get because it came in the economy sized bottle that cost about $4…which would literally last a normal family about 10 years.

Yes, Robotussin is the original life saving drug, so if you are ever sick or in any kind of pain i recommend taking a couple swigs.

I’m pretty sure it cures Cancer and AIDS too.
